Sort of.This kid is a four star recruit and a major commitment for the football program. While I am also a big basketball fan, I can't imagine that your first question to Thomas Robinson would be about whether he was a big fan of football and excited to watch Todd Reesing play.I'd say our football team has done more than enough over the past several years to warrant a little respect. Asking a basketball question as your first ever communication with a major football recruit kind of sends the wrong message.Then again, maybe you're just excited about the very solid win over Baylor last night. I suppose that's forgivable.

When did KU football start to be on your radar of potential schools? How did the recent success of the football program, especially the Orange Bowl victory, factor into your decision? How excited are you to be a part of the high powered offense that features Todd Reesing, Dezmon Briscoe and Kerry Meier?

I second JBurton on the basketball question.But Jesse, could you ask Toben what exactly was the deciding factor in coming to Kansas.Was it to come to KU for immediate playing time? Was it for a chance to get carries and not serve as a traditional fullback, or a combination of both?There was an obvious sell with Kansas considering the other big name schools that recruited him. Let's know why he really came to Kansas. My guess is it is one or both of those questions above.
