Holt’s promotion means 6 former Jayhawks are on active NFL rosters

With the activation of linebacker James Holt on the San Diego Chargers' roster, Kansas University now has six former players on active NFL rosters. Two other former players currently are on NFL practice squad rosters.

Holt appeared in all four of the Chargers' preseason games and had eight tackles. San Diego travels to face the New York Giants this weekend.

What became of Charles Gordon. Apparently he is no longer with the Vikings.

The Vikings waived Gordon in July.

This should make you appreciate how special that 07 team was. Hardly any of its guys were deemed pro material, yet they just went out there and beat the crap out of everyone they played. No letdowns to guys like Iowa State or Colorado. They played with a chip on their shoulder. And this year, we just aren't.

why are we giving Hartwig credit....He doesn't state that as his college on Monday night football or Sunday night football.
