It took KU 2,795 games to get to 2,000 victories. Anyone know how many games it took UK or NC?

If you could only pick one Jayhawk, which would you put on the first-team All-Big 12 roster?

I couldn't pick one. Marcus has really stepped it up this year. Sherron is the heart of our team and our offense. Cole is the backbone of our defense and consistently gets double teamed in the blocks, opening the floor for everyone else. Each has carried us in games where the others didn't have stellar games. We wouldn't be where we are if each of them hadn't given us all they had, each and every game. Great job guys, thanks.

I enjoy these historical articles, they bring back so many memories. I've always thought the 50 point beating of UK was our best game, haven't caught all the articles, so I don't know if it's already been included or not.

Who played best in the second half of KU's 75-64 victory over Nebraska?

Who knows, it was on ESPNU so Comcast customers can't watch it. Doubt I'd give ESPN more money even if it was available. That would just give them more incentive to create another group and split games between ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN$.

KU releases details of Gill's contract

There's really no point in talking about the salary or the record Coach Gill brings to KU. It is what it is and until Coach Gill has three or so years behind him we won't know if Lew made a good hire or not. Let's get behind the man and hope Lew knew what he was doing.

Who had the best offensive game for KU against Missouri?

I thought Brady, Tyrel, and Cole all had fantastic games. Marcus has been the man since league play began. I enjoyed watching Cole and Markieff the most, Cole ripping down the rebounds and blocking shots and Markieff just hustling his tail off and keeping balls alive for us. Tyshawn looks like he'll be our Sherron next year if he stays with the program.

Gary Bedore’s Kansas basketball notebook

It seems to me that we're settling for 3s a lot, instead of pushing it inside. It's an old adage for a reason, "Live by the three, die by the three." When we shoot the three well, as we did last night at NU, we win. When we don't shoot it well, as we did at Tennessee, we lose. We're good enough that we should be able to pound it down low and win regardless. I wasn't paying that close of attention, but I only remember Cole getting the ball twice when he had a foot in the paint. I think we shot 60% from the three point line and only won by 12.

Haven't heard that much about Brady's game and I thought he won the game for us. Kept the ball alive a couple of times that I thought NU was getting the ball, a block, ...
