to borrow a phrase from Bill Simmmons, if something bizarre happens .... say.... ( insert jayhawk here ) gets caught in fist fight over half a plate of curly fries and chicken wings... with a cross dresser from Columbia.... Do we start to believe it....

I think we can rule Jeff Withey out of fighting over food ... so he can be subjectively removed.... but do we start to believe in irrational story because of some much irrational stuff that has already happened.....

Have we entered the tyson zone ?

I just didnt think this kind of stuff would happen to KU...Its embarrassing...I thought it was all going to be over after the fights but then this DUI business? Can it get worse? If so I dont want to know about it...Looks like the 2 guard spot is CJs to lose and Tyshawn will be the only one competing for it if he can get out of Slefs doghouse...This team better get under control because this is not how champions act and if they want to be champions they had better start acting like it.

Well sutton... there has been alot of large talk... and perhaps they have been buying into that large talk......

1. Self has proven over and over again, he gets them under control.
2. X and CJ don't seem to be clowning around, Neither do Sherron or Cole. that should be enough right there.
3. This could mean significant time for Elijah Johnson and Thomas Robinson, after all. Both look like MacDougald and Opurum.
4. Not to mention Mario Little, Tyrel Reed and Jeff Withey.
5. I don't honestly think this can get that much more worse, but I didn't think that after we started playing pick up and the fights showed up.
6. Isn't it interesting that Calipari's rogues have been quietly working under the radar, Last i heard John Wall STILL wasn't eligible, nor Demarcus Cousins. Neither is eligible as of yet, while most say they will be eligible.... calipari's getting an awfully nice smoke screen to practice with player swho might not be elgible ( something our twins could not do last year) ( does that count as a violation of NCAA rules... It sure seems to )

Of course, no one is going to bother looking into that.... It's much easier to shoot fish in a barrel....

FInally, we have been wondering where Self will Find minutes.... i think the kids are making that easier for him by goofing up....

Unfortunately, this could still get worse. The "incident on top of the Hill" is still being investigated and names have even been released.

As for how Brady's suspension affects the team... It really can only make the team better in the long run, by opening up some minutes for the frosh and Mario Little.

Witchhunt? When have you ever known an investigation to be immediate. You cant have instant gratification here. They have to conduct interviews, etc., etc. Just because it isn't happening in a timeframe that is satisfactory doesn't mean it is taking too long. I am sure they are having a very hard time getting the facts lined out. Especially hard when folks dont want the facts coming out.

Yes, it is getting old. Every time when I was a kid and my ass got in trouble, I wanted to move on too. You want it to end because you are a fan and it is getting embarassing. So do I. It cant end. Christ, it is like a daily event now. I didn't really expect to click on kusports.com and see this crap this AM. It's all about winning and generating revenue at all costs now. It is catching up.

Hell, we just found out Mario had a kid. Nothing wrong with that. Sherron has a kid and it doesn't cause any drama. In fact, it was a pretty nice little story as the birthday was coincidental with the Final Four. Not knowing Mario had a kid was because it was hidden. Why was it hidden? What does that imply? More importantly, what else do we not know about? What are we going to read about tomorrow? Let me guess, you will contend we don't need to know. Well, as we are seeing, facts eventially come out. Might as well shine the light and get it over with. It wont stay hidden forever.

I do disagree about why i want it to end.....

It's irrelevant. It really is. If they cannot get the information to match up, putting it out there in a more aggressive light is going to make even more people shrink away and hide.... ALl it does is drag our school through the mud, which frankly we don't neeed right now......

I will try to skirt the line of poltiics that i tried to avoid.... Whatever your opinion of the kennetth Starr investigation into whitewater, it started at one point, and it meandered onto another topic and another topic until it became about Monica Lewinsky.... Fact or fiction, right or left... Investigating a non-fight, and sife incidents that don't see to involve the issue at hand...and stringing this into a huge friggin Knot doens't seem like proper police work.... it seems like a news media's attempt to Break Watergate..... where there doesn't appear to be a watergate

Yeah I agree with Wayward...The police dont really have anything on the players which is a good thing...I think the media wants it to be about the players but they might have something on regular students or non students...But If they don't have anything then they need to let it go because we need to get past these issues as fast as possible. Regardless I don't think any players are going to speak about what happened and therefore none of the players will get in any trouble but who knows what evidence they have on the students and non students that were on campus?

last thing i want is to find out something about Joe Dooley because they investigated a "crime" by tyshawn taylor...... or any other coach, or player.... none of this SIDE stuff is remotely pertinent to the case.... I suppose Mario chalmer's Baby has a small bit of relevance seeing as he was our hero in 2008, but im pretty sure even mario chalmer's baby would be considered a Media casuality at this point.....

we know the baby wasn't fighting with Tyshawn Taylor.....

Im for Free press more than most, but i want responbility..... and I think it's lacking here..... You want meat LJW.... You got a story in Brady, and he's actually guilty of a crime,allegedly.
