I have the feeling this season is special. Really Special. Yes it's one game in..... Yes that one game was a team we beat accordingly.....
Here's why I think it's special..... Our leadership translates.
Jake sharp's comments after the game....
" We had a C+, B effort tonight and we look forward to getting better. The line did an outstanding job out there tonight. We gotta get back to work."
21 carries, 123 Yards and 2 touchdowns. C+, B game.
323 yards rushing. C+, B game.
gave up 3 points. C+, B game.
We proved that we can adapt to heavy zone schemes, by really bringing the lumber running the ball..... Yet C+, B Game.
They don't seem to get happy after a win do they ????

No. This team is hungry...And that's why I think that KU will beat NU into submission in Lawrence this season.

Hunger is contagious. Let's hope their fasting/ feasting catches on with our young basketball team also.
